Ranburne Bulldogs (Ranburne, AL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Woodland Bobcats (Woodland, AL), 48-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ranburne upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Randolph County (Wedowee, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Randolph County won 51-18 in their recent league bout against Dadeville (Dadeville, AL)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL) in a 2A Area 9 bout, on Monday, December 18. Woodland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
