The West Bend-Mallard Wolverines basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers to 8 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Iowa for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14. West Bend-Mallard will battle a Bison team coming off a 67-63 league win over West Hancock (Britt, IA). The Bison record now stands at 2-5.

The Panthers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Sioux Central triumphed over Northwest Webster (Manson, IA), 66-33, in a league contest.
