The Waynesboro Little Giants basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Alleghany Cougars to 24 in the Little Giants non-league triumph on Friday.
The Little Giants now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host James River for a non-league contest on Monday, December 11.
The Cougars (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Bison enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Buffalo Gap ran past Mountain View (Quicksburg, VA), 26-20, in a non-league contest.
