The Simpson Academy Cougars (Mendenhall, MS) basketball crushed the host Wayne Academy Jaguars (Waynesboro, MS), 42-13 in Friday's league test.
The Cougars (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Pillow Academy (Greenwood, MS). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Pillow Academy walloped Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS), 50-26, in a non-league test.
The Jaguars now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Lamar for a test on Tuesday, January 9.
