North Carolina High School Basketball - Montgomery Central can't hold off Anson

The Anson Bearcats basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Montgomery Central Timberwolves to 42 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bearcats now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Davidson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Anson will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 69-34 non-league loss to North Stanly (New London, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-6.
The Timberwolves (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Central Academy was nudged by A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC), 42-21, in a non-league contest.
