California High School Basketball - Caruthers can't hold off Reedley

The Reedley Pirates basketball team scored 34 points and held the host Caruthers Blue Raiders to 31 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buhach Colony for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Reedley will battle a Thunder team coming off a 47-45 non-league loss to Hughson (Hughson, CA). The Thunder record now stands at 1-4.
The Blue Raiders (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mariposa County (Mariposa, CA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Mariposa County was nudged by Pierce (Arbuckle, CA), 52-24, in a non-league contest.
