Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Coastal Academy Stingrays (Oceanside, CA) and the visiting Classical Academy Caimans (Escondido, CA), saw Coastal Academy's basketball squad knock off Classical Academy by a count of 40-30.

With the victory, Coastal Academy upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Stingrays travel to San Diego Jewish Academy (San Diego, CA) to play the Lions in a challenge on Wednesday, December 13. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Caimans play the Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 11. Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 58-51 non-league win over San Pasqual (Escondido, CA).
