The Hertford County Bears topped the visiting Currituck County Knights basketball team by a final score of 62-52 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Bears face the Washington Pam Pack (Washington, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, December 11. Hertford County will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.

With the defeat, Currituck County moves to 2-1 on the year. The Knights host Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC) to face the Panthers in a game on Tuesday, December 12.
