The West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) basketball nipped the host East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC), 47-45 in Friday's non-league test.
The Trojans (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers go into the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Laney got by Pender (Burgaw, NC), 71-28, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host South Columbus for a non-league test on Thursday, December 14. East Bladen will encounter a Stallions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 0-3.
