In Friday's non-league outing, the Heritage Huskies (Wake Forest, NC) basketball squad edged the host Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC), by a margin of 59-55.
The Huskies (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Pride go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Leesville Road held off Green Hope (Cary, NC), 55-51, in a non-league outing.
The Spartans now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Millbrook for a non-league outing on Friday, December 15. Sanderson will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 60-57 non-league win over Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-2.
