Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Los Angeles CES Unicorns (Los Angeles, CA), saw Westchester's basketball squad hold off Los Angeles CES by a tally of 48-46.

With the victory, Westchester improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Comets travel to University (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Wildcats in a challenge on Monday, January 8. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Unicorns confront the Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Los Angeles CES will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
