In Monday's league contest, the visiting St. Mary Eagles basketball team scored a good 40-28 triumph over the Grand Traverse Academy Mustangs.
The Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Suttons Bay (Suttons Bay, MI). The Norsemen go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Suttons Bay was topped by Buckley (Buckley, MI), 39-26, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the St. Michael Academy (Petoskey, MI) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 10. Grand Traverse Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
