The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Roycemore Griffins (Evanston, IL) and the visiting Waldorf Thunder (Chicago, IL), observed Roycemore's basketball team edge Waldorf by a score of 44-41.

The Griffins (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Morgan Park Academy (Chicago, IL). The Warriors enter the Lakeshore battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Morgan Park Academy was nudged by Wolcott College Prep (Chicago, IL), 57-43, in a league battle.

The Thunder now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus for a Lakeshore battle on Monday, December 15. Waldorf will meet a Ravens squad coming off a 69-35 league win over Christian Heritage Academy (Northfield, IL). The Ravens record now stands at 5-2.
