The New Mexico Military Institute Colts nudged the host Hondo Valley Eagles basketball team by a margin of 53-47 in Monday's non-league game.
The Colts now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Non Varsity Opponent for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9. New Mexico Military Institute will confront a team coming off a 17-9 league loss to FAITH HomeSchool (Lapeer, MI). The record now stands at 18-73.
The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM). The Mavericks enter the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Lordsburg got by Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM), 56-16, in a non-league outing.
