In Monday's non-league contest, the host Jay Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 45-38 win over the Sequoyah Eagles.
The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Inola (Inola, OK). The Longhorns come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Inola was tipped by Victory Christian (Tulsa, OK), 63-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Catoosa Indians (Catoosa, OK) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 11. Sequoyah will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 62-10 non-league win over Okmulgee (Okmulgee, OK).
