West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley Wolverines (Graceville, MN), 62-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Central Area upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 17. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 5-0. Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta won 84-74 in their recent non-league bout against Blake (Minneapolis, MN)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Rothsay Tigers (Rothsay, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 13. Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 69-42 league win over Battle Lake (Battle Lake, MN).
