Kentucky High School Basketball - Russell fells Rowan County

Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY), 65-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Russell upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Raceland (Raceland, KY) to clash with the Rams in a District 63 bout on Friday, December 10. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Raceland lost 58-25 in their recent league bout against Russell (Russell, KY)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 15. Rowan County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 62-32 league win over Raceland (Raceland, KY).
