Iowa High School Basketball - Alburnett can't hold off North Linn

The North Linn Lynx basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Alburnett Pirates to 56 in the Lynx league victory on Friday.
The Lynx now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central City for a Tri-Rivers contest on Tuesday, December 13. North Linn will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 67-38 league win over Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-3.
The Pirates (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Starmont (Arlington, IA). The Stars come into the Tri-Rivers contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Starmont was nudged by Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA), 89-37, in a league contest.
