The Port Huron Big Reds basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Anchor Bay Tars to 44 in the Big Reds non-league triumph on Friday.
The Big Reds now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Huron Northern for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 15. Port Huron will meet a Huskies team coming off a 66-49 non-league win over Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 1-1.
The Tars (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Big Reds enter the Macomb Area - Blue contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Chippewa Valley was nudged by Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI), 66-49, in a non-league contest.
