Georgia High School Basketball - Turner County routs Atkinson County

In Friday's league outing, the Turner County Titans (Ashburn, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA), by a margin of 72-49.

The Titans (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Pelham (Pelham, GA). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Pelham was trounced by Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA), 32-30, in a non-league outing.

The Rebels now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Tiftarea Academy for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 10. Atkinson County will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 72-38 non-league loss to Citizens Christian Academy (Douglas, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
