The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Glenvar won 42-33 in their recent non-league bout against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA)

With the defeat, Galax moves to 0-2 on the year. The Maroon tide travel to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 14. The Cavaliers enter the game with a record of 2-0. Carroll County won 69-62 in their recent non-league game against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA)
