The Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL) basketball nipped the host Aurora Central Catholic Chargers (Aurora, IL), 56-53 in Friday's league test.

The Sentinels (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL). The Knights go into the Metro Suburban test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Chicago Christian was tipped by Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL), 75-40, in a league test.

The Chargers now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Wheaton Academy for a Metro Suburban test on Tuesday, December 13. Aurora Central Catholic will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 60-45 non-league loss to Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 2-4.
