Indian Springs Thunderbirds (Indian Springs, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Beatty Hornets (Beatty, NV), 39-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Indian Springs upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Pahranagat Valley (Alamo, NV) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Hornets play the Carlin Railroaders (Carlin, NV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Beatty will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
