Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Metter Tigers (Metter, GA), 70-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bryan County upgrades its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Redskins host Memorial Day (Savannah, GA) to play the Matadors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Matadors come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Memorial Day won 75-48 in their recent non-league bout against Faith Baptist Christian Academy (Ludowici, GA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Metter will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 49-39 non-league win over Bleckley County (Cochran, GA).
