Arkansas High School Basketball - Buffalo Island Central edges East Poinsett County

The Buffalo Island Central Mustangs (Monette, AR) basketball nipped the visiting East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR), 61-54 in Friday's league test.
The Mustangs (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Earle (Earle, AR). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region 3 test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Earle got by Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR), 70-54, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Evangelical Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10. East Poinsett County will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 50-40 league win over Harding Academy (Memphis, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
