Durand Railroaders (Durand, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Byron Eagles (Byron, MI), 79-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Durand upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Railroaders host Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI) to play the Rams in a Mid-Michigan bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Hill-McCloy lost 59-43 in their recent league bout against Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI)

Next up, the Eagles play the Lakeville Falcons (Otisville, MI) in a Mid-Michigan challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Byron will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 71-23 league loss to Chesaning (Chesaning, MI).
