The Hardin County Cougars (Elizabethtown, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Carrier Mills-Stonefort Wildcats (Carrier Mills, IL), 65-35 in Friday's league test.

The Cougars (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Norris City-Omaha-Enfield (Norris City, IL). The Fighting Cardinals go into the Greater Egyptian test with a 3-4 record.

The Wildcats now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Century for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Carrier Mills-Stonefort will encounter a Centurions squad coming off a 73-41 league loss to Meridian (Mounds, IL). The Centurions record now stands at 3-5.
