The Central City Wildcats basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings to 38 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Linn for a Tri-Rivers contest on Tuesday, December 13. Central City will battle a Lynx team coming off a 58-56 league win over Alburnett (Alburnett, IA). The Lynx record now stands at 6-1.

The Vikings (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA). The Buccaneers enter the Tri-Rivers contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, East Buchanan triumphed over Springville (Springville, IA), 67-62, in a league contest.
