The Central Bears routed the visiting Nature Coast Tech Sharks basketball team by a final score of 65-35 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bears face the Weeki Wachee Hornets (Weeki Wachee, FL) in a 4A District 9 game, on Saturday, December 10. Central will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 3-2 record after their 62-56 non-league loss to Springstead (Spring Hill, FL).

With the defeat, Nature Coast Tech moves to 3-3 on the year. The Sharks travel to Lecanto (Lecanto, FL) to face the Panthers in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 13.
