Chesaning Indians (Chesaning, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lakeville Falcons (Otisville, MI), 71-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Chesaning upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Swan Valley (Saginaw, MI) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Swan Valley lost 70-64 in their recent league bout against Garber (Essexville, MI)

Next up, the Falcons play the Byron Eagles (Byron, MI) in a Mid-Michigan bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Lakeville will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 79-30 league loss to Durand (Durand, MI).
