Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Hall Trojans (Gainesville, GA), 72-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Chestatee upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The War Eagles host Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA) to clash with the Warriors in a AAAA Region 8B bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Walnut Grove won 67-47 in their recent league bout against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the White County Warriors (Cleveland, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. North Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 47-36 league win over Wesleyan (Norcross, GA).
