Lakeside Lions (Seattle, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cleveland Eagles (Seattle, WA), 49-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Lakeside upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Woodinville (Woodinville, WA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Woodinville won 68-59 in their recent league bout against North Creek (Bothell, WA)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Chief Sealth Seahawks (Seattle, WA) in a 3A Metro bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Cleveland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Seahawks go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 51-47 league loss to Ballard (Seattle, WA).
