Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cross Trojans (Cross, SC) and the visiting Lake Marion Gators (Santee, SC), saw Cross's basketball squad wallop Lake Marion by a tally of 61-40.

With the victory, Cross improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Burke (Charleston, SC) to confront the Bulldogs in a A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Burke lost 54-51 in their recent non-league challenge against North Charleston (North Charleston, SC)

Next up, the Gators confront the Bishop England Battling Bishops (Charleston, SC) in a AA Region 7 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Lake Marion will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
