Illinois High School Basketball - Edwards County can't hold off Hamilton County

The Hamilton County Foxes basketball squad scored 41 points and limited the host Edwards County Lions to 36 in the Foxes league win on Friday.
With the win, Hamilton County upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Foxes host Fairfield (Fairfield, IL) to play the Mules in a Black Diamond - East bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Mules go into the bout with a record of 2-3.
Next up, the Lions play the Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Edwards County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 47-30 non-league loss to Griggsville-Perry (Griggsville, IL).
