In Friday's league outing, the Orion Chargers (Orion, IL) basketball squad felled the visiting Erie-Prophetstown Panthers (Erie, IL), by a margin of 51-37.
The Chargers (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Galva (Galva, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 0-9 record. In their last outing, Galva was beaten by Elmwood (Elmwood, IL), 73-24, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Kewanee for a Three Rivers - East outing on Saturday, January 7.
