Watervliet Panthers (Watervliet, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Fennville Blackhawks (Fennville, MI), 51-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Watervliet upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Panthers host South Haven (South Haven, MI) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 2-0. South Haven won 56-55 in their recent non-league bout against Allegan (Allegan, MI)

Next up, the Blackhawks play the Coloma Comets (Coloma, MI) in a Southwestern - North bout, on Friday, December 16. Fennville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
