The Westminster Catawba Christian Indians basketball team (Rock Hill, SC), was toppled 57-44 in Friday's league battle with the host Gaston Day Spartans (Gastonia, NC)
The Spartans now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westchester Country Day for a non-league battle on Friday, December 16. Gaston Day will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 63-60 non-league win over Salem Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-4.
The Indians (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Charlotte Christian was toppled by Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC), 64-37, in a non-league battle.
