In Friday's non-league outing, the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) basketball squad beat the host Graves County Eagles (Mayfield, KY), by a count of 74-59.
The Marshals (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Murray (Murray, KY). The Tigers go into the District 4 outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Murray was topped by Clarksville Academy (Clarksville, TN), 62-49, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ballard Memorial for a District 3 outing on Thursday, December 15. Graves County will clash with a Bombers squad coming off a 64-56 non-league win over Hickman County (Clinton, KY). The Bombers record now stands at 4-1.
