Georgia High School Basketball - Upson-Lee holds off Griffin

December 9, 2022: Thomaston, GA 30286

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA) and the visiting Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA), saw Upson-Lee's basketball squad hold off Griffin by a tally of 61-58.

With the victory, Upson-Lee improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Therrell (Atlanta, GA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Bears confront the West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA) in a AAAA Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Griffin will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 73-62 non-league loss to Treutlen (Soperton, GA).
