The Mitchener University Academy Tigers basketball team (Selma, NC), was routed 62-38 in Friday's league battle with the host Howard Eagles (Wilson, NC)
The Eagles now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne Preparatory Academy for a CAASC Triangle battle on Monday, December 12. Howard will battle a Generals team coming off a 82-42 league win over Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC). The Generals record now stands at 9-1.
The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Emerson Waldorf (Chapel Hill, NC). The Gnomes come into the CAASC Triangle battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Emerson Waldorf trounced Iron Academy (Raleigh, NC), 28-26, in a league battle.
