Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Wolfe City Wolves (Wolfe City, TX), 53-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Howe upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Covenant Christian (Colleyville, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Covenant Christian won 58-49 in their recent non-league bout against Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX)

Next up, the Wolves play the Dodd City Hornets (Dodd City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Wolfe City will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 57-48 non-league win over Covenant Christian (Colleyville, TX).
