The Meridian Yellowjackets basketball team (Meridian, TX), was overwhelmed 70-24 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Huckabay Indians (Stephenville, TX)

The Indians now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santo for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 10. Huckabay will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 54-46 non-league win over Sidney (Sidney, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-6.

The Yellowjackets (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sidney (Sidney, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Sidney was overwhelmed by Lingleville (Lingleville, TX), 42-26, in a non-league battle.
