Pollok Central Bulldogs (Pollok, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Hudson Hornets (Lufkin, TX), 53-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pollok Central upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to West Sabine (Pineland, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-8. West Sabine lost 83-39 in their recent non-league bout against Tatum (Tatum, TX)

Next up, the Hornets play the Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin Tigers (Austin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Hudson will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 65-13 non-league loss to Joaquin (Joaquin, TX).
