Nebraska High School Basketball - Perkins County fells Kimball

December 9, 2022: Kimball, NE 69145

Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Kimball Longhorns (Kimball, NE), 59-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Perkins County upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Plainsmen travel to Paxton (Paxton, NE) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Paxton won 53-36 in their recent non-league bout against Potter-Dix (Potter, NE)

Next up, the Longhorns play the Morrill Lions (Morrill, NE) in a C2 District 12 bout, on Saturday, December 10. Kimball will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 60-36 non-league loss to Garden County (Oshkosh, NE).
