Laurens Academy Crusaders (Laurens, SC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host King Academy Knights (Batesburg, SC), 28-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Laurens Academy upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Our Lady of the Rosary (Greenville, SC) to clash with the Lions in a SCISA A Region IV bout on Monday, December 12. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Our Lady of the Rosary won 45-36 in their recent league bout against Oconee Christian Academy (Seneca, SC)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Wardlaw Academy Patriots (Johnston, SC) in a SCISA A Region IV bout, on Tuesday, January 3. King Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
