The Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans (Concord, IL) basketball knocked off the host Liberty Eagles (Liberty, IL), 46-35 in Friday's non-league test.

The Trojans (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Carrollton (Carrollton, IL). The Hawks go into the Western Illinois Valley test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Carrollton went down by Carlinville (Carlinville, IL), 48-45, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Beardstown for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Liberty will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 62-26 non-league loss to Bushnell-Prairie City (Bushnell, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 4-6.
