The North Mahaska Warhawks basketball team (New Sharon, IA), was nudged 65-62 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Lynnville-Sully Hawks (Sully, IA)

The Hawks now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pleasantville for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 10. Lynnville-Sully will battle a Trojans team coming off a 49-34 league loss to Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-4.

The Warhawks (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against English Valleys (North English, IA). The Bears come into the South Iowa Cedar battle with a 1-5 record.
