St. Catherine's Angels (Racine, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Martin Luther Spartans (Greendale, WI), 77-48 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Catherine's upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Angels travel to Shoreland Lutheran (Somers, WI) to play the Pacers in a Metro Classic bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Pacers go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Shoreland Lutheran won 59-41 in their recent non-league bout against University School of Milwaukee (Milwaukee, WI)

Next up, the Spartans play the St. Joseph Lancers (Kenosha, WI) in a Metro Classic bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Martin Luther will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 72-32 league win over Catholic Central (Burlington, WI).
