Mascoutah Indians (Mascoutah, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL), 57-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Mascoutah upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Indians host Ridgewood (Norridge, IL) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Ridgewood lost 54-50 in their recent non-league bout against Madison (Madison, IL)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Freeburg Midgets (Freeburg, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Waterloo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Midgets go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 75-55 league win over East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL).
