Michigan Lutheran Titans (St. Joseph, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lake Michigan Catholic Lakers (St. Joseph, MI), 45-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Michigan Lutheran upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Titans travel to Howardsville Christian (Marcellus, MI) to clash with the Eagles in a Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Howardsville Christian lost 68-43 in their recent league bout against River Valley (Three Oaks, MI)

Next up, the Lakers clash with the Countryside Academy Cougar (Benton Harbor, MI) in a Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Lake Michigan Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Cougar go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 58-41 league win over New Buffalo (New Buffalo, MI).
